What happens when I hit the free limit?

Your form carries on working. Respondents never see an error and never get turned away — we keep collecting every answer. What pauses is your ability to read the ones past the allowance; they sit locked in your dashboard until you upgrade, and upgrading reveals all of them at once. We'd rather meter the account owner than break a live form in front of their customers.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. You can build a form and publish it without signing up — it's tied to the browser you built it in. When you do create an account, we offer to move those forms across with their responses intact.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the billing page, which opens Stripe's own portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, then drop back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted — forms over the free limit become read-only rather than disappearing.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Your forms stay, your responses stay, and you can still export everything as CSV. You'd go back to reading 100 responses a month, and the BubbleForms badge returns to your forms.

Is the annual plan actually cheaper?

Yes — $190 a year against $228 paid monthly, so two months free. There's no other difference between them.

Do you take payment details for the free plan?

No. There's no card on file until you choose to upgrade, and no trial that quietly converts into a charge.
