Privacy

The short version

We store the forms you build and the answers people give you. We don't run advertising trackers, we don't sell data to anyone, and we never see your card details.

If you have an account

Accounts are handled by Clerk. They hold your email address, your password (hashed, never in plain text) and — if you sign in with Google — the name and profile picture Google shares. We store your Clerk user id, email, name and picture so we can show you your own forms.

We store your forms' titles, questions, settings and the responses they collect on Convex infrastructure.

We count how many responses your account receives each month, because that's what the free allowance is measured against. It's a number, not a copy of the answers.

If you build a form without an account

You can build and publish without signing up. That workspace is identified by a random key generated in your browser and kept in local storage; we never see a name or an email address for it.

Because that key lives in your browser, clearing your browser data means losing access to those forms. Published forms carry on collecting, but you would no longer be able to edit them or read the responses. Signing up and claiming them moves them onto an account, which is the fix.

If you pay us

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers — we couldn't see them if we wanted to.

We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, its status and when the current period ends. That's what decides whether your account is on Free or Pro.

Stripe holds your billing details and invoices under their own privacy policy.

If you answer a form

Your answers are stored and shown to whoever built the form. Answers are saved as you give them, so a form you abandon halfway will still have left the answers you had already given with its owner.

We store a random session identifier in your browser so that reloading the page resumes where you left off rather than starting again. It is not used to identify you anywhere else.

We do not collect your IP address for analytics, place advertising cookies, or attempt to identify you across sites.

Whatever personal information a form asks you for is between you and the person who made it. We are the tool, not the recipient.

Deleting things

Deleting a form from your dashboard permanently removes it and every response it collected, immediately.

If you answered someone's form and want your response removed, ask the person who sent it to you — they control it and can delete it.

To delete your account entirely, cancel any subscription from the billing page and email us; we remove your forms, responses and account row, and Clerk removes the identity.

Changes

This page will change as the product does. Material changes will be noted here with a date, and the date at the top always reflects the last revision.
