Fillout is a strong tool and in most feature comparisons it wins. It writes directly into Notion, Airtable and half a dozen databases, it handles payments, uploads, signatures and scheduling, and its logic builder is far ahead of ours. If your form is a piece of infrastructure that has to land data in another system, buy Fillout. What follows matters only if the thing you care about is how many people finish.

It writes into your existing stack
Native two-way integration with Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, Salesforce, HubSpot and more. Fillout treats the form as part of your database rather than a separate island. We give you a link, a webhook and a CSV.
A much deeper feature set
Payments, file uploads, e-signatures, scheduling, calculations, multi-page logic and approval flows. Feature for feature this is not a close comparison.
Serious conditional logic
Branching that holds up across long forms, with calculated values and conditional pages. We ask your questions in order, which is fine until it isn't.
Team and compliance features

The form is a conversation, not a page
Fillout can do a one-question-per-page layout. Ours is a message thread — earlier answers stay visible above, the next question arrives like a reply, and the person can tap their own answer to change it. It reads as a chat rather than a slideshow.
Every answer is saved as it is given
Not on submit, and not as a background draft you have to go looking for. Someone who leaves at question four has already sent you four answers, and they appear in your results marked partial.

Your results say which question people stopped at. That points straight at the question to cut or rewrite, which a completion percentage never does.
Nothing to set up
No account needed to build a form. Open a template, change the questions, share the link. Fillout is a tool you adopt; this is one you can use once and abandon.
So which one
Pick Fillout if the form has a job to do inside another system — populating an Airtable base, taking a payment, collecting a signature, routing an approval. It is built for that and we are not.
Pick BubbleForms if the problem you actually have is that people start your form and don't finish it. A chat-shaped form and answers saved question by question are aimed squarely at that, and at nothing else.
If you are unsure, the honest test is to look at your current form's numbers. If people finish it, Fillout's extra power is worth having. If they don't, more features will not fix it.
